Industrial and Commercial Metering Technician - Slough - £675-800 a week (PAYE)

Carrington West are working with a vibrant utility metering company with a reputation for providing some of the best training scheme in the industry

The structured development programme offers the opportunity for technical and personal progression and includes an immediate up-skill to 3-Phase skillset as required. Once you are trained, full support is given whilst in the field to ensure all technicians have access to any advice and guidance needed, In addition to this, the company are always exploring new ways to work, this could lead to further opportunities to enhance your skills in the future in areas such as CT metering, Medium Pressure Gas and EV Charging.

In exchange for your passion and enthusiasm and in addition to training and development, you will benefit from a high specification vehicle, full PPE, branded clothing and all the tools needed to deliver a friendly and high-quality service. They even cover parking There is no obligation to work evenings or weekends and no on-call rota or stand-by requirements as well as 28 days a year holiday (plus bank holidays). There is however the opportunity to conduct work out of hours on a voluntary basis allowing you to increase your earning potential further.

Specific requirements are:

- Sound metering background with relevant knowledge and experience of Single (Electric) or Dual Fuel Metering Systems
- A passion for offering best-in-class customer service

Training and Pay

The expense of training is all covered by the company, including travel, accommodation and meals, allowing you to focus on doing what you do best

You will trained in the companies 3phase metering process in your first week and then undertake a mentoring period and sign off process. During this time you will earn a weekly wage of £577 per week.

Once you are signed off, your basic and weekly bonuses will earn you £675-800 (PAYE) on average.

This is for your 37.5 contracted hours Doing one Saturday a month (fitting 4 meters/2 duals) would earn you and extra £2050 (PAYE)
