Our client, a local authority based in Bedford are looking for a Highways Supervisor to join their team. This is on a temporary ongoing contract basis.

The purpose of the role is to:

- Assist in the delivery of several key projects to support the busy in house engineering team.
- Supervise Highways maintenance works on site.
- Delivery of highways engineering works, particularly urban junction construction including design of roundabouts and traffic signal controlled junctions.
- Experience of management of NEC construction contracts, preferably with NEC Supervisor accreditation
- Ability to manage small teams
- Significant experience in highway engineering, particularly urban junction construction including design of roundabouts and traffic signal controlled junctions
