Children's Clinical Support Worker

The Community Paediatric Service is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Children's Clinical Support Worker, with an awareness of children’s disability, to join their team.
Your role will be to promote the smooth and efficient running of all community paediatric clinics across the city, ensuring all necessary patient information is available to support the doctors in the clinics.
You will be required to support children with a range of disabilities including complex disability and challenging behaviour, and their families/carers, whilst attending community paediatric clinics. You will undertake the weighing and measuring of all children and young people prior to the consultation with the doctor and assist families to complete any relevant paper work. In addition to this you will also be expected to assist with the day to day smooth running of the department including administration and housekeeping duties.
On occasions, you may be required to support the Child Protection clinic at the Coral Suite, Moss Side.
You must be able to travel across the city to support locality clinics.
To support children with complex disability and challenging behaviour and their families/carers, whilst attending community paediatric clinics.
To work as part of the Community Paediatric Service to support a range of community clinics, including IHA and child protection clinics.
To ensure the safe and effective running of all clinics.
To ensure all necessary patient information is available to support the doctors in the community paediatric clinics.
