Job Title: Market Access Manager / Health Economics Specialist / Lead

Responsible for: Market Access, Pricing Strategy, Technology appraisals, Health Economics modelling
**Key responsibilities**:
To improve the access environment for our Branded Products medicines across the globe, supporting our commercial teams within the Branded Products Division through developing our market access and health economics capabilities with budget impact models and technology appraisals, market intelligence and implementing relevant pricing and reimbursement strategies that are appropriate to the business opportunities.
- **Market Access Strategy**:Develop and implement comprehensive market access strategies to ensure optimal pricing, reimbursement, and access for branded generic products in the UK and globally.
- Design, scope, plan and manage the delivery of projects in the value and access space, including supporting stakeholder engagement, budgetary management and quality assurance.
- Working technical knowledge of the markets in which the business operates.
- Coordination of Pricing & Reimbursement strategies and processes for each product
- Lead on assigned key policy areas in the value and access space, including preparing evidence based and robust content such as analyses, position papers, external messaging and consultation responses.
- **Health Economics**:Conduct health economic analyses and budget impact models to support market access and reimbursement submissions.
- Actively driving technology appraisals
- Developing responses to public bodies (for example NICE) and related consultations.
- Support from relevant expert external consultancies/agencies as necessary
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, regulatory bodies, and patient advocacy groups.
- Engaging with Patient Organisation Forums and Patient Advisory Council.
- Engaging with Ministers and Officials on topics related to access priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement by regularly extracting key learnings and insights from projects - sharing these across the business and with stakeholders.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines in the target markets.
- **Market Intelligence**:Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and policy changes to inform strategic decisions.
- Support development of robust and credible evidence and metrics to support successful advocacy of priorities.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**:Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, medical affairs, and regulatory affairs, to align market access strategies with overall business objectives.
**Who we are looking for**:
We are looking for someone who is educated to degree level or further education in the relevant field such as health economics, public health or business administration. With extensive experience in market access, health economics or a related field within the pharmaceutical industry. A strong understanding of the healthcare systems in the target markets (UK, DE, FR, IT, ES) and a proven track record of successfully developing and executing market access strategy, technology assessments, modelling, RWE generation, and managing complex projects to time and on budget.
You must be an excellent communicator, influencer and negotiator with IT proficiency including in health economics modelling and data analysis tools. Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical market place, and ideally experience of working with national bodies in key markets.
You will enjoy working collaboratively, with strong strategic thinking and problem solving skills, and the ability to work cross functionally, independently or as part of a global team. You will be detail focused with good analytical skills.
