The successful applicant needs to have a passion for fresh food, lots of energy, drive and experience of working to high standards in a volume lead environment producing approximately 4000 meals a month.

This is an expanding business as we are looking to grow and expand further into the corporate side.

**A Typical Week**:
Monday:

- Flexible working hours
- Menu development
- Admin
- Cleaning the kitchen

Tuesday:

- Flexible working hours
- Food prep day

Wednesday:

- Flexible working hours but meals must be ready by 3pm
- Production day

Thursday:

- Day off

Friday:

- Day off

Saturday:

- Flexible working hours
- Prep day

Sunday:

- Flexible working hours but meals must be ready by 3pm
- Production day
- *Please note that it is negotiable that some Friday and Saturdays can be swapped._

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Must be reliable and fully competent in all aspects of kitchen duties and be able to deliver a menu refresh every 6 weeks, including catering for special dietary requirements and working to macros
- Prepare and cook meals in a timely manner
- Ensure all stock is stored safely, rotating stock and checking 'use by' dates
- Liaise with chosen suppliers on ordering the required stock
- Ensure the kitchen and all equipment is kept clean and ready for use
- Work with the team to create and develop new menus
- Great attention to detail
- A creative problem solver
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player
- An interest in the fitness industry and healthy eating
- Willing to further your knowledge and experience on sports and nutrition, including how these are linked

This role has room for growth with monthly meeting discussing targets and development ideas.

**Qualifications & Experience required**
- Experience of running a kitchen within a fast paced environment
- Experience in meal prep and bulk cooking desired but not essential
- Experience of working in a central production unit is preferred
- Experience in kitchen management
- Experience of managing a team
- Must have good knowledge of food health & safety protocol and ensuring you meet the required regulations with necessary risk assessment knowledge
