We're looking for an ambitious developer for an exciting new role in a fast-evolving start-up with room for progression into a more senior role as the company grows.

What we're looking for

We want someone who's looking for a new challenge, learns quickly, and isn't afraid to get stuck in and make recommendations on how we can improve our platforms & processes.
We are based in Lutterworth, Leicestershire, however, flexible working is available via working from home for a dedicated number of days per month - to be discussed and agreed upon.

**What will your key responsibilities be?**

You will be reporting to the technical co-founder and will be primarily responsible for maintaining and improving our core platforms. This will entail:
Bug Fixes
Code Reviews
Feature Requests
Large Project Planning & Implementation

**The skills we need from you**

We currently have a couple of platforms that are built in Node and vanilla Javascript which will need maintaining & improving. We also have future plans for current systems built in other technologies to be moved over to Node.

Hike is a fast-growing SEO SaaS platform, providing a unique software solution in a crowded marketplace. Competing with the big players think Semrush and Moz we're trying to disrupt the small business SEO industry by creating a platform that enables any small business to improve their own SEO themselves.

And it's working so far. In under 4 years, we've grown the platform year after year, and we're now being used by over 7000+ users across 70+ countries. All based from our office in the Midlands.

**Salary & benefits**

The salary is £35-45k per annum, depending upon experience.

We also offer hybrid working, with a minimum of 2 days per week working alongside the other team members here at our office in Lutterworth, located in the beautiful countryside.
