**Café Artysans**: We are looking for an experienced catering professional to join the Cafe Artysans Front of House team.

Café Artysans is owned and operated by the Calman Trust charity, and everything we do brings the added benefit of helping to improve the life chances of young people in Highland. We are looking for a FoH team member who shares these values.

Average 30-40 hours per week, 7.30 to 15.30 or 08.30 to 16.30. Rota system, 5 days out of 6, through Monday to Saturday, closed Sunday. Very occasional evening work.

Terms: £12/hour.

**1. Job Role**

You will be expected to support the Café Artysans team in all aspects of front of house duties whilst ensuring that young people will learn to do what's required of them in the workplace.

**2. Main Duties**
- Working with the Café Artysans team to ensure food supply meets the needs of customers.
- Ensuring the service runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Providing customer service in a warm and welcoming manner.
- Coaching and encouraging young people working in Front of House roles.
- Adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Following organisational policies and procedures.
- Carrying out any other reasonable duties in support of the Cafe Artysans team and your Calman Trust employers.

- Experience in a similar role
- Proof of excellent customer service skills
- A positive, solution-focused attitude to work
- Commitment to teamwork and an environment of mutual respect
- Experience of cash handling
- Experience in maintaining good standard of hygiene and health and safety
- Smart & professional appearance
- Ability to engage and motivate young people
- Willingness to support the involvement of young people in the workplace
- Commitment to the ethos of the Calman Trust young people's service
- Driving licence and access to a car
- PVG check will be required

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
