A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time **Kitchen Assistant** to join our well established nursing home**, Cery Newydd** located in the heart of Treborth, Bangor.
**Our aim;** is to achieve a standard of excellence and good practices.
**Our objectives;** that we will deliver a tailored service to each resident to enhance their overall quality of life.
As a kitchen assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards and with the correct use of all equipment and materials whilst ensuring our residents enjoy an enjoyable dining experiences whilst assisting our Cook complete tasks to ensure meals and cooking areas are to the highest standards.

- **What you’ll be doing;**
- Report and record in the appropriate manner any information considered to be important to the Homes Manager
- Ensure that the Cook-in-charge is kept informed of any changes or problems that occur during his/her absence.
- Ensuring the correct storage and rotation of stocks.
- Ensure that a good standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained throughout the kitchen, to meet the required standards of practice prescribed by Environmental Health Agencies
- Ensure that all machines are used correctly, cleaned and stored. Any faults or damage is to be reported immediately.
