Hotel Receptionist

**Overview**
We are seeking a personable and well-presented Hotel Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm welcome. Our aim is always to exceed our guests' expectations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, a passion for hospitality, together with the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Handle guest enquiries and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and reservations.
- Process payments and manage cash transactions securely.
- Address guest issues promptly, ensuring satisfaction.
- Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Assist in managing phone calls, taking messages, and forwarding enquiries as needed.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures to maintain a high standard of service.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong verbal communication skills are essential.
- A knowledge of Opera is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- A friendly demeanour with a genuine desire to assist guests.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Pay: From £22,308.00 per year
