We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Design Coordinator to join Tolent working for our North East region for Tolent Living.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a construction related qualification interested in developing their career within the Design function of the construction industry. This is a great opportunity to join Tolent in a development role and grow and develop your skills and experience as part of a small and supportive design team.

Your main duties will include:

- Managing external consultants to ensure technical information is produced in line with project requirements
- Assisting the design team with various administration activities
- Attending design team meetings, note take and ensure actions are progressed in a timely manner
- Carry out document control duties including administration duties on Viewpoint and reviewing Quality Assurance Documentation
- Attend project sites on a regular basis to review progress and provide solutions to technical issues
- Obtaining utilities quotations for disconnections, diversions and new connections
- Provide support to the wider technical team on a number of schemes

What you’d bring as an Assistant Design Coordinator:

- Educated to HNC or higher with relevant engineering, architecture or Construction Management qualification
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ambition for a career within the Construction industry
- Good organisation skills & ability to manage and prioritise workload
