Climate17 are working exclusively with a world energy storage leader who were the first manufacturer of PV Solar Inverters in America, Europe and Oceania who possess a combined installed capacity of over 56GW of Solar PV and Battery energy storage invertersglobally.

They are actively searching for a skilled Field Service Technician to be responsible for the install, commissioning and operations of Solar PV inverters across their client's UK solar farm portfolios.

**Responsibilities**
- Start-up and commissioning of solar inverters in customer's Solar Farms.
- Diagnose and repair of faulted inverters in the field.
- Complete and turn in field reports that capture time and work completed on site.
- Proactively identify potential technical issues and suggest corrective actions.
- Provide diagnostic analysis, repair and/or preventative maintenance to customers.
- Responsible for physical installations such as connections, wiring, etc.
- Complete on-site system audits and evaluations.
- Reporting tasks.
- Fulfill internal and external documentation.
- Practice and adhere to safety and training.
- Ability to travel to solar plants when required.
- Participate in the company on call rota for weekend callouts as required - one weekend per month on average.

**Requirements**:

- HNC/ University Degree/ Engineer´s Degree in electricity, electronics or similar.
- ECS card (essential).
- BS 7671 18th edition (desirable).
- C&G 2391 inspection and testing or equivalent (desirable).
- Full UK Drivers license.
