You'll join our friendly team of 17 Support Workers working in a beautiful three story house with its own lovely garden. We support four men and one lady aged between 31 - 68 all of who have learning disabilities and some also have physical disabilities. They enjoy sharing their home with a range of pets including a cat, a canary, fish and five chickens in the garden.
Popular activities include gardening, walking, swimming and visiting new and exciting places. They also enjoy visits to the theatre, meals out and going on holiday.
The home has a lovely family atmosphere with some of the team having worked here for over twenty years. New team members are always made to feel very welcome and benefit from working alongside experienced colleagues who are quick to help with training and advice.
This is a part-time role 22.5 hour per week shifts are worked on a rota basis to include days, evenings, nights, weekends and sleep-ins.

**Training and Development**
At Macintyre we fully support your training and development. We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training and mentoring support whilst on the job.
But it doesn't stop there - throughout your career with us you will have access to our own dedicated in house Learning and Development team, Quality Specialists and HR Teams. These teams, along with your Manager, will provide you with opportunities to learn and develop professionally as well as enabling and supporting you to achieve professional qualifications and career progression opportunities - all free of charge.
