Platform Housing have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in a fast-paced Housing Development team Our Programme team are now recruiting?for a Policy, Procedure & Governance Officer to join the team based in Solihull.?

Our Development Team is an exciting place to be. We have a large new build development programme, across a very large geography. We are striving for excellence and are looking for someone who is ambitious, forward-thinking, organised and a real self-starterto join us on our journey.?

**What could you be doing?**

You will contribute to the development of policies and procedures, and strategies for the Development Team and wider Group to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance.??

You will also support with ensuring the activities of the Development Team comply with internal policies and external requirements.?

You’ll play a key role as you will be the operation lead on all?the signing and sealing of Development contracts and legal documentation; ensuring all information is accurately recorded for the Group’s contract register. ?

This role will require you to attend our Birmingham Business Park office, Solihull, B37 7YD,?at least once a week to lead on the signing and sealing process, andyou will have a flexible approach to homeworking for the remainder.?????

**Some things we need from you??**

Ideally working as a Policy Officer, you will be familiar with developing policies, procedures and writing board reports. You might also have a legal background and be familiar with contracts and other legal documents. A sound knowledge and understandingof social housing providers and the wider environment in which they operate would be an advantage.?

This is a really varied role, so we want someone who has a willingness to embrace change and who thinks innovatively, bringing a fresh perspective. You’ll also have a positive mind-set with a can do and flexible approach. You will be organised and efficientwith the ability to meet deadlines.??

Because people matter here at Platform it’s important you also have excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrable experience of communicating with a wide range of people - including Customers - at all levels. You will have an ability to establish strong,sustained working relationships based on respect.???
