We are recruiting for a **HR Apprentice** to join our HR Team. This is a newly created role within the HR Team in the UK&I Consulting Business. The HR Apprentice will play a key role in delivering our HR Agenda across the consulting business. Under the direction of the HR Business Partners, to provide an effective administrative support to the team focusing on supporting employee relations activities, reporting of management information and ensuring that records are maintained, and processes are followed in a timely and accurate manner. This role will offer the appointee the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of initiatives, adding value to the team.

Your apprenticeship will last for 24 months, during which time you will support the development and delivery of our business-wide training and development initiatives, HR coordination and administration. This role will work closely with the HRD, and broader HR team to develop a sound knowledge and understanding of the HR function, creating solid foundations for a career in the organisation. You will be taught, and will put into practice, skills which will be key for a junior HR role

**Key responsibilities/accountabilities**:

You will be responsible for supporting the business and embedding our People practices and policy, working closely with and alongside our HR Business Partners undertaking the below accountabilities;
- Provide administrative support (including, but not limited to; processing paperwork, filing, dealing with mail, creating reports, gathering information, facilitating and arranging meetings etc for all elements of our people processes:

- Employment Relations
- Learning and development administrative support
- Local reward schemes
- Management Information reporting
- Shadow the HR Business Partners in Employee Relations Cases (such as Absence management, grievances, Disciplinaries, Performance management etc..) providing administration support to any meetings.
- Provide reward administration on
- Consulting local bonus schemes and employee recognition.
- Participate and support the HR BP’s with the Fairness, Inclusion and respect (FIR) and health and wellbeing committees.
- Maintain and publish the HR Calendar of activities.
- Maintain HR Monthly reporting using power Bi - (training will be provided)
- Complete general administration tasks for the HR Business Partners and HRD to agreed timescales
- Support the HRD and Business Partners with the development and implementation of projects as required
- Maintain your own continuing professional development, keeping up to date with legal requirements and relevant HR developments.
- To maintain appropriate confidentiality of information relating to the Company and its employees and maintain compliance with the GDPR
- To adhere to Company Health, Safety and Environmental Policy at all times.
- Any other duties as required.

**A good basic understanding of the work of a HR Function and a demonstrable interest to start a career in HR
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with the drive to achieve
- Effective time management skills, meeting deadlines and prioritising multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Excellent attention to detail
- A desire to provide excellent customer service and demonstrate a People orientated approach
- The ability to handle sensitive information and respect confidentiality where required.
- A strong team player, building good working relationships and retaining a positive attitude towards your work and colleagues
A high degree of discretion and confidentiality is essential
- Considering or working towards CIPD L5 in HR Support
- You will have strong administrative and organisational skills.
- You will be a self-starter, who is proactive at all times and able to work on own initiative.
- You are able to think of creative solutions to problems. You will thrive in a busy environment which requires you to juggle priorities and will be able to quickly adapt to different situations.

**Education and experience**:

- As a minimum requirement, you will need to have achieved or be expecting to achieve 5 GCSE passes at Grade C/4 or above including in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications
- Relevant work experience desirable
