Photographer & Retoucher

**Through our collaborator model and in-house garment design, we create unique collections for all occasions and we're looking for an eCommerce Photographer and Retoucher to join our team.**

**This role is based in Manchester with a requirement to be in the office studio regularly, there may also be a requirement to travel to locations across the UK and occasionally outside of the UK.**

**A bit about the role**

We are looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic photographer to join their in-house creative team. You will join a growing studio and creative team, working in a newly furbished studio using a range of photographic techniques and marketing mediums. (eComm and social)

In the role of a mid-weight photographer, you will be an integral part of the photography team, responsible for shooting high-quality photography at volume across a variety of celebrity, influencer and own brand collections.

You will report directly to our Photography Manager, and you will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced studio environment. You will bring our briefs to life through exciting new ideas and concepts and respond to creative briefs with exciting new ideas and concept.

Previous experience of photographing fashion is essential, as well as in-depth knowledge of photography and photographic lighting/techniques (studio, still life and social). You will also have experience of working in a studio setting and will contribute to the production and quality of our brand photography.

**Your most important **tasks**
- Shooting high-quality fashion images at volume for a wide range of collections and on occasion, you will be required to shoot still life, beauty and accessory stills as well as flat lays.
- Prepping your working set, checking that all equipment is fully functional and correctly maintained to enable us to produce imagery on time and to brand standards.
- Directing of models to ensure we capture on-brand images that showcase our products and speak to our target customer.
- Image selection, naming, cropping and processing of all images shot, maintaining file size and any relevant specifications for our eCommerce platform and social marketing.
- Meeting daily and weekly shooting schedule whilst maintaining the highest quality photography and creative flair.
- Working with the wider creative and eCommerce team to develop concepts and plan fashion shoots for the website and social material.
- Shooting images with an understanding of CaptureOne software and editing and retouching images with the use of Adobe Photoshop.
- Managing own time management and teamwork with members on set to ensure workload is completed to a high standard.

**A bit about you**:

- You can demonstrate your photography skills through a strong portfolio of fashion imagery, a portfolio that demonstrates the applied techniques of fashion photography stills (composition, lighting, capture, and processing), as well as pre-production and post-production steps.
- Capture one and Photoshop practical skills are essential.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proven experience working in a high-volume and demanding e-commerce environment.
- You're a team player who is reliable, creative and enthusiastic.
- Calm under pressure with tight turnaround timeframes and you have an exceptional eye for detail.
- Experience of directing eComm shoots including the shoot team and models
