Lead Research Administrator

The post-holder will provide professional administrative support to the research community within the Business School. The role will focus on supporting the School strategy to enhance research and impact within the School, working closely with the Vice-Dean Research and Impact, Director of Impact and Innovation (DoII) and departmental Directors of Research (DoRs) and Impact Leads as well as University units such as FAS, RIS and RBDC. The post-holder will also work with the School’s other Lead Research Administrator role to support the ethical approval process and cover PGR administration as required.
Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills are essential for this post. You should be flexible, a team player and able to work on your own initiative, organise and prioritise workload but also know when to seek advice.
The post-holder reports to the Operations Manager and will be expected to be supportive of change and to adopt a flexible and cooperative approach to improvements to operations and the provision of administrative support in the School.

This post will be primarily based between Castlecliffe, The Scores and the Gateway Building, North Haugh, St Andrews.
