Mental Helath Care Assistant Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care tasks and activities.
- Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, grooming, and feeding.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Support patients in their daily activities and ensure their comfort and well-being.
- Follow healthcare protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs for patients.

**Experience**:

- Experience in mental health care is essential, care home experience preffered.
- Proficiency in basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
- Ability to create and update care plans for patients.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Valid driver's license for transportation requirements.

Rate of pay is higher and negotiable with amount of experience.
