A fantastic opportunity for a Project Planner to join the Aerospace and Defence division of a $4 billion global engineering business.

The Project Planner is a pivotal role for the Project Management Office, with responsibility for the creation and maintenance of all development plans for projects, using MS Project online.

Typical responsibilities will be to:
- Take responsibility for planning and maintaining new product development schedules for accurate status reporting.
- Plan for full life-cycle development, from bid generation, design, analysis, manufacture, test and delivery.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Functional Managers to ensure accurate status reporting for all live projects.
- Report across multiple projects using standard KPI's.
- Be aware of contractual project requirements.
- Effectively communicate project performance.

The successful Project Planner will:
- Have gained project planning experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Ideally be degree qualified.
- Have knowledge of Project Development Lifecycles, including formal Gate Reviews.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of project planning tools, ideally MS Project online.
- Be highly organised with strong IT and communication skills.
