Our client, a total logistics services provider, offers comprehensive global supply chain solutions, aimed at reducing costs, improving customer satisfaction, reducing inventory investments and customising product delivery.
They’re currently looking for an **_Export Operation Clerk_** to join their professional and friendly team. They have separate Air/Sea Import/Export staffs, but this role is required both Air/Sea import experience
- Have basic freight forwarding experience for exporting
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn new knowledge
- Be able to commute Heathrow or surrounding area
- A quick learner and be prepared to be fully trained in all aspects of export operation.
**Responsibilities**
- Export freight operations and Customs clearances
- Handling sea/air export shipments
- Speaking to customers on a daily basis
- Liaising with shipping lines, airlines, handling agents, transports, Customs & our overseas offices
- Raising files, documents and invoices
- Arrange collections
**Requirements**:
- At least 1-2 years hands-on operational freight forwarding experience
- Good working knowledge of logistics, airlines and shipping
- Export Customs entry experience
- A quick learner and be willing to learn all areas of the operation
- Be able to demonstrate a good level of work efficiency and accuracy
- Professional customer service and business communication skills in all area
- Commercial awareness, understanding of basic profit/loss
**Conditions**
- Salary - £25 -30,000 per annum
- Training in all areas of the operation given, including BIFA certified training
- Other benefits are available
