**About the role**:
The Faculty is a varied, busy, and complex environment. You will work closely with our ten departments to develop and deliver HR plans, using your extensive HR experience to advise, influence, coach, and engage with managers and staff across both the Faculty and the wider People Function team.
**What you would be doing**:
As the People Partner for the Faculty of Engineering, you will work with the Head of People Partnering to shape the services and value delivered by the function.
You will have line management responsibility for the Assistant People Partner, advising and coaching them on the proactive management of formal processes such as sickness absence, performance, and capability.
You will also support the Head of People Partnering in delivering interventions and plans that align with the overall People agenda and the Faculty’s strategic ambitions.-**What we are looking for**:

**Further information**:
This is a part-time, fixed-term position (12-month maternity cover), working 28 hours per week. Job share is available.
