As a member of the Barclays Compliance Assurance Data Analytics team, you will be joining our team supporting the review teams with the development of technology test objectives and the execution of technology reviews. **What will you be doing?**:

- Supporting with the planning of technology reviews and driving remediation actions to close identified gaps
- Assessing the design and operating effectiveness of systems and controls to mitigate compliance and financial crime risks
- Providing guidance to stakeholders on the remediation of control weaknesses and outcome risks by participating in discussions and using technical knowledge
- Supporting the team to build capability to deliver assurance reviews, and sharing good practice with all colleagues on executing assurance work
- Interacting with business, operations, compliance, infrastructure areas and other risk functions
- Completing several duties at the discretion of the Head of Compliance Assurance and senior management
- Leading by example and supporting fair and ethical behaviour in all colleagues
- Exhibiting the Barclays values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence and Stewardship

**What we’re looking for**:

- Good practical knowledge of risk and control in technology, including processes for managing and maintaining Information Technology (i.e. ITIL processes, identity etc.)
- Experience in developing and executing assurance strategies to assess control environments
- Influencing and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to all levels of the business
- Proficiency in completing assurance reviews, controls testing and audits to a high standard

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Experience and knowledge of compliance and financial crime regulations, risks and technology systems
- Ability to perform data analytics and profiling on structured and unstructured data
- Knowledge in some of the commonly used data analytics tools used in the team (e.g. SQL, SAS, Python) and data visualisation software, such as Tableau
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as CISA, CISM, CISSP; any other relevant technical qualification or graduate degree would be ideal but not essential
