** SOLUTION ARCHITECT REQUIRED IN BROMLEY**

**DURATION - 6 MONTHS**

**DAY RATE - £700-750 (INSIDE IR35)**

**LOCATION - BROMLEY (CANDIDATES MUST BE UK BASED AND HAPPY TO COMMUTE ON A WEEKLY BASIS)**

**The Solution Design Architect** will work in a small team that perform design tasks for both GBT global and EMEA projects. To strengthen the team another permanent team member is required to support the portfolio of work expected in the next5 years.

**The Team**

The analysis and design team are made up of architects and product owners who are engaged at the start of projects and support through to implementation. There are 8 team members in the UK and two in India supporting Global and EMEA GBT projects. Thougheach design team member is working on their own projects, the teamwork collaborates providing support, advise and input to other team members.

The team works closely with GTS product (globally and in EMEA), Operations teams and technology teams in EMEA, US, LATAM and Asia.

**Role Description**

The Solution Design Architect defines the end-to-end technical solution to address business requests. This will include defining interfaces between components. The Solution Design Architect will work closely with team members in Global Strategy and Architecture(GSA) to ensure alignment to the global strategy and resolve design issues.

The Solution Design Architect will be involved in the early engagement with product and operations to provide high level solutions and estimated to engagement requests. They will either own the design or support the integration and implementation of globalsolutions in to the EMEA environment.

The Solution Design Architect is expected to review high level and low level (platform) design and testing strategy and support the development and testing teams as the solutions are built out. In addition.

The Solution Designer will be expected to have excellent technical skills across a number of platforms and have had experience working with offshore developers.

**Core skills - Required and Preferred**
- Performed a solution/applied architect/design role on several projects using more than one technology
- Extensive analysis and programming skills in different technologies
- A proven track record for developing and implementing solutions
- Must be able to work under pressure, juggle multiple projects, use own initiative and motivation to meet deadlines and set priorities without close supervision
- Must be willing and able to express new ideas, concerns and opinions directly to wider team including senior leadership

Attention to detail and accuracy are essential; must be pro-active, enthusiastic, flexible, and results driven
