Commercial Management Graduate

**Commercial Management Graduate** Vattenfall is now looking for the right person to fill the position as Commercial Management Graduate, with Onshore Operations in Business Area (BA) Wind. This Graduate Trainee role will work within and support the Commercial Management Team and also work alongside the country Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams who are responsible for safely operating and maintaining Vattenfall’s onshore renewable energy assets. The Onshore Commercial Management function supports the Onshore Operations organization on commercial matters through providing commercial expertise and advice across the portfolio. You will have an important role within the Commercial Management team, supporting the resolution of commercial issues, including analytical support to maintain commercial and operational performance. **Your responsibilities as a Commercial Management Graduate**: You will support the general commercial management of Vattenfall’s onshore wind farms in line with Vattenfall Group strategy, policy and procedures. In your role you ensure information in contract and commitment management platforms are maintained and updated as required. Furthermore: - Support the day to day commercial management of significant contracts, variations and claims relating to contractors providing service to onshore wind farms; - Support and contribute to the commercial input of warranty projects ; - Support the Commercial Team with commercial-technical cross over topics; - Proactively support the Commercial Managers and country O&M teams with the transition of developing projects from the construction phase into O&M; - Support the coordination of procurement processes and ensuring that all procurement activities are performed in line with Vattenfall procedures ; - Analyse the performance of plant and failures of equipment, drawing on support from the wider Vattenfall team; - Analyse the operational and HSE performance of onshore sites including the performance of any contractors and preparation of regular reporting e.g. Monthly reporting on KPI’s, commercial analysis of data from SCADA, etc.; - Interface with the Finance and Controlling team on LEC reduction initiatives, when required; - Supporting the Commercial Team with stakeholder relationships and ensuring proper risk management procedures are adhered to across the portfolio; - Efficiently project manage special projects. **Your qualifications as a Commercial Management Graduate**: You have recently graduated with a degree or equivalent level of education, preferably in a commercial/financial, general engineering or technical qualification. Furthermore: - Good team player, with the ability to influence over a wide network of co-worker relationships and work in multicultural teams - Great communication skills both verbally and in writing English; - Be results-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines and produce concise information - Strong self-performance management and delivery focus with the ability to balance conflicting requirements of quality, cost and time and make decisions in tight timescales - Ability to work with minimum supervision and take the initiative - A proactive approach to Health, Safety, Security and the Environment - Willingness to take on ad hoc work tasks and assist the team where needed **Our organisation**: Energy is our contribution to quality of life - day after day.
