We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, Europe's longest established independent supplier of printed carton packaging for a Warehouse Operative with FLT (Counterbalance) on a temporary basis.

**Overview of the Role**

Working in a busy, fast-paced environment, using your own initiative to ensure each job is completed to the highest of standards. To book in goods inward to the Warehouse and store finished goods prior to them being picked and dispatched. To play an integral part of the warehouse team that assists with the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods to the companies customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the unloading of incoming raw materials
- Booking in of the incoming raw materials
- Issue of raw materials when required
- Responsible for the booking in of finished goods
- Storage of finished goods
- Picking of finished goods making ready for dispatch
- Loading and dispatch of the finished goods to the customer
- Responsible for keeping the work area clean and tidy
- To maintain high levels of Health and Safety standards
- Communicate, practice and promote the values, ethics and culture of the company
- Any other duties that can be reasonably expected of the role

**What we are looking for**
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and numeracy
- Organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
- Willingness to continually learn and improve
- Extremely adaptable, with a flexible approach to working
- A Counterbalance fork-lift truck license - we may consider recently expired or in house license

**The hours of work and pay**

For the first 2 weeks you will train on days(8am-4pm), then you will be allocated to the following shift pattern:
3 shift weekly rotation (must be able to do all 3 shifts):

- Nights - (Monday to Thursday)

9.00pm - 6.05am
- Earlies and Afters - (Monday to Friday)

6.00am - 1.35pm and 1.30pm - 9.05pm

The pay for this role is £10.50 per hour with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break
