The VBHC (Value Based Healthcare) team have established a programme of work to develop a range of patient and workforce reported measures for a variety of service user groups to support the evaluation of the implementation of national delivery plans.

**The post holder is expected**:

- To provide administrative support to the VBHC and clinical teams.
- Act as the first point of contact within the VBHC team for any queries or problems related to the projects.
- To encourage staff and patient involvement in the delivery of patient centred care.
- To liaise directly with members of staff to facilitate a speedy resolution to enquiries.
- Implement and monitor the standard patient reported outcome/experience measure (PROMs/PREMs) that is validated and reproducible across a range of conditions.
- Accurately and objectively understand in/out patients’ experience of their disease and our service to those patients.
- Respond to routine enquires from the public, staff and key stakeholders in the statutory and voluntary sector to determine their requirements and provide information and advice, as appropriate; exercising tact, diplomacy, reassurance and courtesy.
- Fully maintain databases and spreadsheets, ensuring the correct input of all data requirements and information in a timely manner and in accordance with prescribed timescales; maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Take, transcribe and type up formal minutes for meetings relating to specific projects/initiatives and meetings within the team.

Based within the Value Based Healthcare Team, the post holder will work with and provide comprehensive and effective administrative support to the Senior Project Manager, Programme Manager, VBHC lead and clinical staff for multiple service user groups for example heart failure, diabetes and lymphedema within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB).

This will include
- Providing secretariat support for the VBHC team, Projects and Programmes.
- Assist in the development of standard patient reported outcome and experience measures (PROMs/PREMs).
- Test the feasibility and acceptability of administering PROMs/PREMs in different ways and comparing completeness and response rates.
- Use own initiative to deal with patients’ queries, providing information and assistance in regards to the PROM/PREM digital platforms.
- Supporting the nursing team with clinical administration.

- Keep accurate and complete records of public and stakeholder information in a secure and confidential manner in accordance with UHB Policies and legislation i.e. ensuring information is stored in locked and secure filing cabinets, password protection of documents saved on SharePoint and other folders; maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Plan dates for internal and external meetings and events with the public, staff and stakeholders to fit with other standing diary commitments informing participants of the details and ensuring relevant reports and papers are provided in a consistent and timely manner.
- Typing correspondence, letters, reports, action notes, formal minutes, ensuring accuracy and documents are completed to a high standard of presentation and meeting deadlines.
- Deal with internal and external telephone and face-to-face enquiries from the public, staff and key stakeholders in the statutory and voluntary sectors, employing excellent interpersonal skills at all times, and refer to the appropriate member of the team if required or relay messages accurately and in a timely manner.
