**Electrical QC Inspector**

**Role Profile**

Electrical QC Inspectors are responsible for providing independent Quality Control across a range of nuclear electrical disciplines.

The services are provided at vendors’, potential vendors' or other participating entities’ premises and locations within the stated geographical areas

You will be an experienced Electrical Inspector, fit and able to work at height and confined spaces. As an experienced Electrical Inspector professional, you will have a high level of written and verbal communication skills and be able to operate on siteswith mínimal supervision.

Your role will involve working in a client facing environment on sites with differing working cultures. As such you will be demonstrating excellent customer service skills and the ability to problem solve.

**Experience**
- Sound understanding and qualification where necessary in Electrical Inspections.
- Have a good working knowledge of UK requirements for Inspection within the nuclear industry or transferable experience from another high hazard industry.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Have a good working knowledge of UK requirements for Electrical Inspection within the nuclear industry or transferable experience from another high hazard industry.
- Be able to demonstrate a proactive, self-motivated approach to technical and non-technical work.
- Have experience of managing a range of stakeholders and will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of influencing and negotiating, particularly in technical discussions relating to Inspection.
- Have good technical writing and communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of the Customers quality requirements
- Good working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes.

**Qualifications**
- Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 or ONC/HNC
- Proven and demonstrable experience as a skilled electrical person
- C&G 2391
- CompEx/ATEX (desirable)

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with both internal and external Customers.
- Deliver independent inspection and quality control services at operating sites and vendors relating to new equipment in manufacture, fabrication and construction.
- Equipment ranging from Class 1 nuclear pressure equipment to items manufactured and installed to conventional codes, standards and regulations.
- Review of electrical fabrication documentation within delegated authority levels.
