Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) are hiring
We are seeking an organized **Committee Coordinator** to join our** Governance** Function. This is a** full-** **time** opportunity on a **permanent** basis.
The role will be based in 10 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf London, E14 4PU. Please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas. We are currently implementing a flexible, hybrid way of working, with a minimum of 4 days per month working on site to enable the collaboration and contact with partners and stakeholders needed to deliver MHRA business. Attendance on site is driven by business needs so depending on the nature of the role, this can flex up to 8 days a month, with the remainder of time worked either remotely or in the office. Some roles will need to be on site more regularly. Remote working is potentially available for some specific roles. Please discuss this with the recruiting manager before accepting an appointment.

**Who are we?**

The Governance Office is a small unit that brings together support for managing and controlling the Agency effectively, through delivering effective support to and management of Board, Executive, expert and independent committees, together with delivering the highest standards of delivery across corporate governance, risk and assurance. The Governance Office will also lead the Agency’s sponsorship relationship with the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), the Government Legal Department and our relationships with the Devolved Administrations.
**Job description**:
The post holder will support the management and effective operation of the Agency’s medicines’ and medical devices’ committees and other advisory committees. They will assist Committee Advisors with all aspects of meeting preparation, particularly leading on agreement of final agendas and liaising with assessors to ensure timely and quality papers are available to members via the relevant portal. This role will be responsible for the effective operation of new financial and expenses processes and will provide a pro-active problem-solving approach to embedded new ways of working, supporting members to use new facilities, and to ensuring ongoing quality delivery once new approaches become routine.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support preparation for committee meetings.
- Lead the development of new process for claiming expenses and maintain accurate records of attendance and deal with all other financial queries and payments for the team.
- Review and dispatch company letters and assist with preparation and collection of information for committee annual reports.
- Provide excellent customer service to committee members
