**About the role**
We’re seeking a diligent Governance and Reporting Manager to support and deliver successful projects and programmes in relation to outcomes, cost, risks and customer advocacy through the use of class-leading tools, data and processes. This is a Hybrid rolewhere you will initially be working remotely.
The Governance and Reporting Manager has responsibility for the overall programme and financial position to ensure that financial processes and governance is adhered to. You will be responsible for all performance reporting, both regulatory and internal aswell as maintaining an effective risk management and planning process.
Within this role, you will also act as the conscious of the programmes to provide the appropriate challenge and support whilst implementing best practices. You will provide support and counsel to the delivery functions to maximise the value for money of theirprojects whilst working with key internal stakeholders to ensure funding and programme viability is maintained.
**What you’ll be doing**:

- Managing and influencing a multi-functional team
- Delivering the programme on time and to cost, all within governance
- Providing updates and analytics on financial and operational performance
- Accurate and diligent reporting of financial and operational performance within the company and to external auditors
- Presentation at senior levels throughout the organisation on activities of the programme
- Managing a large stakeholder group and provide appropriate level updates
- Coordinating and responding to business-wide requests
- Providing central analytics, insight and reporting function
- Managing and controlling the formal risks & efficiency management process
- Providing central programme planning and controls, including financial forecasting and budget setting
- Coordinating with Commercial Team to effectively manage the contracts
- Setting baselines for financial and output KPIs and developing remedial action plans
- Benefits tracking and variance analysis
- Document & governance control

**What we’re looking for**:

- Experience leading a successful PMO or reporting, risk and governance team
- Successful financial background in budgeting and forecasting with an understanding of financial cycles & modelling - OPEX /CAPEX
- Extensive knowledge of business and understanding the significance of commercial constraints; has put together business justifications, business cases and risk/benefit profiles
- Extensive experience in management reporting
- Proven track record in managing a multimillion-pound and diverse portfolio
- Experience in executing a performance framework and governance structure
- Track record of driving performance and minimising cost.
- Design and delivery of business processes
- Business planning cycles and process
