Conference & Banqueting Supervisor

To ensure all conference and banqueting rooms are set up to the Marriott standards, serve food and beverage at conferences and banquets to ensure the highest level of event satisfaction, Marriott brand standards and ensure associates are briefed of their duties and responsibilities to meet the needs of guests / clients. The supervisor will be expected to lead the associates in the absence of a manager.
- The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:_
- To act as the link between the host and other departments/support other F&B outlet when needed
- Check the meeting rooms prior to the clients arrival to ensure it is set up as per the clients instructions and to the Marriott standards
- Be visible in Front of House areas as much as possible
- Meet all function contacts as they arrive, checking all their needs and reviewing meeting times, room specifications and guarantees for all food functions
- Communicate any changes to event details to other departments immediately
- Ensure all break out and meeting rooms areas are clean and tidy at all times
- Ensure that the refreshing and servicing of the meeting rooms is carried out to the Marriott standard and check on guest’s progress during breaks
- Ensure all extras are signed for and all bills are raised accurately on the day
- Hold pre meal briefing with all servers to review server needs, assignments and responsibilities
- Ensure all schedules / set up list schedules are completed
- Ensure breaks and time sheets are completed to company standard
- Completes critique form for all meeting
- Complete store room requisition and checks staffing level for the next day
- Ensure conference bar liquor stock take are completed on weekly basic
- Ensure all the crockery stock take are completed on monthly basic
- Ensure all the invoices are completed on monthly basic
- Carries responsibility for ensuring that all cash and key security procedures are adhered at all times as per the hotel policy.

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
