Our South West team is looking for an enthusiastic Nightshift Autism Practitioner. Our team is guided by personalised plans to promote well-being, actively working to reduce stress and promote quality rest for those we support.

At Scottish Autism we acknowledge the specialist support our staff provide to autistic individuals, therefore those doing support work are known as Autism Practitioners.

As an Autism Practitioner, experience of working within social care is desirable but not essential as we are seeking to appoint people who share our values**:Collaboration; Compassion; Change Makers; Contribution.**

New colleagues must be keen to learn and develop into the role. We will support you to do this by offering outstanding training and we are continuously improving to ensure all our Autism Practitioners are supported and have the skills to deliver a quality service. This post is also a good opportunity for those with a generic support worker experience to specialise.

**The Opportunity**:
Nightshift Autism Practitioners within South West Area Services work as part of the wider team to develop personalised support plans as well as building positive relationships with the supported individuals, their families, health professionals and other stakeholders to ensure the supported individuals life goals and aspirations are at the centre of their support.
