We want to push the knowledge and expectations of coffee service, expanding people's understanding of the coffee growing, processing, roasting and serving.

**Job Overview**
At High Street Coffee we take great care and pride in producing high quality speciality beverages. Following the 'Speciality Coffee Association' guidelines whilst using exceptional ingredients and advanced equipment to create outstanding drinks. The role is to support our team in providing that service whilst learning and developing skills to be a great barista and team member.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Ensure all food safety standards are met during food preparation and serving.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and utensils to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure a memorable experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining basic math skills for till operations and use of a POS system.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while effectively managing time.

**Skills**
- Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer interaction and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing till operations effectively.
- Exceptional time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- A passion for coffee and a desire to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods. Join us in creating memorable experiences for our customers through exceptional service and quality beverages

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
