Senior Estimator

Estimator required to join an established in house team for a property developer.

The role will be based in Derbyshire/Staffordshire, but may also extend to projects in Manchester and North Wales.

**Tasks**
- Assist with reviewing drawings and tender documentation
- Help quantifying materials and labour.
- Help Preparing budgets
- Providing support for takeoffs
- Prepare progress reports and help with Build Programs
- Source and organise supplier and subcontractor quotes
- Maintain and update cost databases via Eque2 Contruct
- Participate in site visits and project meetings

**Knowledge**
- Experience of working with and reporting to housing associations would also be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Eque2 - Construct programme or similar would be advantageous but not essential
- Quantity Surveying experience would also be advantageous
- Knowledge of construction VAT rules & CIS would also be advantageous but not essential
- Preferably an Individual with good knowledge of Microsoft office in particular Microsoft excel is essential.

Salary depending on experience

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

- Ashbourne DE6 1GH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- estimating: 3 years (preferred)
- residential development: 1 year (preferred)
- SAGE/EQUA2 software: 2 years (preferred)
- Budget management: 2 years (preferred)
- surveying: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
