Axon Moore are delighted to bring to market an outstanding Commercial Finance Analyst opportunity, which will see you working for an international private equity backed business, based in Knutsford.
Reporting to their impressive Commercial Finance Manager, your role will be an integral part of a growing Commercial Finance function and will provide key support to the continued growth of the group. You will work in close partnership with the finance businesspartners to provide comprehensive financial reporting and analysis updates. Delivering financial support to commercial decision-making across the business, you will drive continuous process improvement to identify cost-savings and develop efficiency's whereverpossible. Your role will include the following:

- Support the delivery of timely and comprehensive financial reporting and analysis, including but not limited to, month end Management Accounts and KPIs, Quarterly reforecasting and Annual Budgeting.
- Deliver monthly revenue recognition and fee analysis, ensuring exceptions are reviewed to ensure accuracy in line with revenue recognition procedures and policy.
- Work with key overhead budget holders and Management Accounts to ensure expenditure is monitored against budget and any significant variance, risk or opportunity is reported to the Board.
- Provide support and assistance with year end audit as required.
- Support the FBP in delivery of regular & ad-hoc outputs.
- Aware of key business processes and key metrics associated with each business relevant to their area of work.
- Actively contributes continuous improvement of key processes for controls, effectiveness and efficiency.
- Proactively analysing company data to highlight trends, opportunities and threats

To be considered for this role you will have the following:
**Essential**:

- Part qualified CIMA/ACCA
- Competent in use of excel modelling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working technical knowledge of reporting standards and management accounting techniques, with a focus on trading balance sheet accounts (Accruals, Prepayments, Accrued Income, Deferred Income) and Profit & Loss reporting/analysis.
- Proven experience in a Finance role

**Desirable**:

- Experience of working in medium to large organisation
- Experience of working as part of Group Shared Services
- Experience of working in multi currency
