Aviva’s PMO team is a high performing and highly valued team within Aviva’s Group Transformation function. The PMO plays a key role in supporting our change community’s portfolio of work which is delivering Aviva’s strategy.

A bit about the job:
Working within Aviva’s PMO team means providing day-to-day support for the Programme Director or Manager for complex and large-scale projects across the key PMO pillars of Governance, Planning, Risk and Financials. We proactively highlight deviations and trends ahead of time.

You’ll also be dealing with issues, impacts, and identifying areas for investigation to support delivery, and provide confidence that change is being managed to clear risk tolerances within an effective system for predictable, no surprises delivery.

Day-to-day engagement with a range of local stakeholders is required in all aspects of change activity to drive effective deployed support across areas, as well as acting on behalf of Finance tams and ensuring agreed investment money is spent appropriately - and action taken where it is not.

Skills & Experience we’re looking for:

- Significant PMO experience with a solid record of delivering change.
- A self-starter, able to operate with mínimal line intervention, and accountable for managing your own workload to successful conclusions.
- Strong relationship management skills with senior stakeholders and an understanding of key change management tools.
- Collaborative in nature with an inquisitive mind; be passionate about removing waste and killing complexity.
- Have a solid understanding of Business Portfolios and strategy.

- Salary between £35,000 - £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
