**Specialist Packer & Driver**

**Salary**: £22K - £25K plus Performance Related Bonus

Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (some flexibility outside these hours may be required)

- **PACK & SEND**_ is the fastest-growing packing and shipping business in the UK. Founded in Australia over 20 years ago, we opened our first UK service centre in 2009 and now have 20 service centres across the country with plans for continued growth.

We provide total logistics solutions but specialise in packing and international shipping of fragile, large, awkward and valuable items.

Our customers can be private individuals and businesses, and examples of items handled include fine art and antiques, computers and electronics, personal effects, exhibition equipment, laboratory equipment, ceramics and glassware.

We can send anything, anywhere No job is too big or too small, and our customers constantly surprise and challenge us with the things they ask us to send. We pride ourselves on our ‘No Limits’ culture and can-do attitude, and our repeat and referral business levels are a testament to our legendary customer service.

**THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Planning an efficient daily route and ensuring the vehicle has the necessary packaging materials
- Collecting customers’ items in the store vehicle, showing care and attention at all times
- Handle and pack objects of different shapes and sizes using bubble wrap, cardboard boxes, etha-foam and other packing materials in our store
- General packing and inventory of non-fragile items in cardboard boxes.
- Build custom boxes in compliance with the given measurements and specifications.
- Ensuring valuable items are securely packed for shipping and transport.
- Plan to pack products according to the order of each customer.
- Loading and unloading our vans when they are back from collections.
- Ensure that the workplace is always kept clean & tidy.

**COMPETENCIES**

Experience in packing is preferred but optional, as full training will be provided at the store.
- Ability to achieve high standards of customer service
- A ‘can-do attitude
- Excellent and confident telephone manner
- Computer literate
- Enthusiastic, confident, self-motivated, organised and well presented
- Full clean UK driving licence is required

**TRAINING**
- Complete the _**PACK & SEND**_ Induction
- Complete on-the-job learning as required
