**At Partners in Support, we pride ourselves on being able to support individuals to live the life they want to live, in their own home with the continuity of support teams making it a familiar and person-centred approach.**

We are recruiting for an on-call support worker, you must be available to support, and cover shifts for service users across Hertfordshire, 24 hours a day from 7:15am Monday to 5pm Friday, always liaising with the On-call Manager. **The post holder will not be required to work at the weekend.**

While some days the demand for cover will be high there may be other days where you will not be needed but will still be paid for 7.5 hours and need to be available just in case.

Any hours over 7.5 hours worked each day will be paid as overtime.

**_Applicants must have minimum of 1 years’ experience _**of providing person centred support to people with learning disabilities and/or Autism, and be able to demonstrate the following personal qualities and skills**:

- A commitment to empowering people and working closely with their family
- Self-direction and the ability to take responsibility
- Ability to remain calm in difficult situations
- A positive and compassionate nature
- Able to work flexibly and be able to do sleep ins
