Ward have sites Nationwide and a HeadOffice in Kent. **We are currently recruiting for**: **Position**: Area Manager - Mobile Services **Pay rate**: £40,000pa **Shift Pattern**:Monday - Friday 40 hours per week **Location: Chatham** **Duties**: To oversee all operational and administrative activity within the Mobile Services department, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency. This is by means of directly managing, interacting with, and developing the Service Delivery manager, Mobile supervisorsand officers and also through liaison and relationship building with both existing and potential customers. To plan, monitor and review organisational processes to ensure that all relevant standards and contractual expectations are met. Key Responsibilities: - To Oversee training, assistance, and guidance both to Service Delivery Manager and Response Officers as and when appropriate. - Proactively manage, retain, and develop long term client relationships within the portfolio and recognising opportunities for business development. - Work closely with National Operations Manager to ensure customer service excellence and development of clients, both internal & external. Through customer service delivery - To Oversee annual leave, sickness leave and rosters for Mobile Officers, organising cover when necessary, in the absence of the service delivery manager ensuring continuity in customer service delivery. - Ensuring contractual work is authorised by required deadlines and databases are complete and up to date for invoicing purposes. - Monitor the performance of Mobile services team through the completion of CSRs during their shifts through regular site visits targeting development areas, addressing issues of poor performance where appropriate, and assuring all patrols required are undertakenwithin required timelines. - Conduct Investigations, and assist in the disciplinary process within the Mobile Services department (Where necessary assist with other Departments and business needs) - Assist with the development of and maintain ServiceTrac to measure performance against established standards and ensure compliance with, and a continuation of, attained accreditations. - Conduct appraisals of direct reports and submit in a timely manner, by the required deadlines. - Ensure that operations of the Mobile Division are completed in accordance with the relevant UK legislation, British Standards and Company Operating procedures. - Reporting & forwarding relevant information and feedback to clients as communicated from the National Operations centre. - Assist the Head of Mobile in cost control, to ensure all costs are managed, Wages Fleet, Holiday, stationary, uniform etc. - To carry out any other reasonable request pertaining to the role. - Any other duties that the Company may request from time to time that have not been included in the above. - Follow, review and lead compliance on Ward Security Limited Compliance Procedures for all Company Operating Procedures. **Must have**: - Valid SIA licence - Full UK manual driving licence - Good customer service and communication skills - Experience within a similar position is preferred - 5-year checkable work history **WHO WARD ARE**: Ward Security provides security services solutions to a range of UK businesses.
