**The Role

Jaego's House is looking for a Chef De Partie who is passionate about food and can multitask in the kitchen. You will successfully supervise the kitchen team, as well as assist the Junior Sous Chef and the Sous Chef on a daily basis. You will be in chargeof preparing, chopping, cooking, and preparing food items in accordance with our recipes.

**Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of a Chef De Partie, but are not limited to:

- Ensure adequacy of supplies at all times.
- Place orders in a timely manner.
- Manage ingredients that should be frequently available on a daily basis.
- Follow the directions of the executive and sous chef.
- Give attention productivity of the kitchen such as speed and food quality.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with other colleagues and seniors.

**The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Chef De Partie are:

- Min. 2 years’ experience.
- Previous experience of working as a chef.
- Ability to manage a kitchen section while simultaneously overseeing food quality and following procedures.
- Ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes and standards.
- Excellent communications skills and organisational skills.
- Have high standards of health and hygiene.
- Have a positive attitude and the ability to multitask.
- Assist the Sous chef in developing a highly motivated team who take ownership and pride in their work.
