**The Role**
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Support Centre People Team as a People Coordinator (75B) on a 12-month secondment or fixed-term contract. This role is perfect for someone who loves being organised, enjoys variety, and is passionate about delivering brilliant HR support to a fast-paced and people-focused business.
You’ll be working closely with the Head of HR - 75B and our People Advisor to keep everything running smoothly - from onboarding new joiners to keeping our systems and processes in check. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring our people get great service and feel supported every step of the way.
**Responsibilities**
**HR & People Admin**
- Keep our People records in Workday accurate and up to date
- Manage new starters and leavers via our 75B Activity Tracker
- Manage reference requests
- Ensure leaver processes are followed, including carrying out exit interviews
- Coordinate monthly people announcements
- Process invoices via NetSuite
- Provide accurate holiday calculations where needed
**Onboarding & Induction**
- Manage the onboarding process from offer stage to completion of trial period
- Prepare contracts, offer letters, right to work checks, and welcome boxes
- Set up training and inductions plans
- Liaise with our shop teams to organise shop training
- Ensure new starters are set up with the right IT equipment and systems
- Populate trial period review meetings (4 & 10 week)
**Payroll & Pay Review**
- Support monthly payroll processes for new starters and leavers
- Support with the annual pay review & bonus
**People Projects**
- Lead the coordination of our bi-annual Buddy Day programme
- Support Pret’s Big Conversation by ensuring our data is spot on
- Help with planning and hosting of work experience, internships and supplier visits
**General Support**
- Pull regular people reports on starters, leavers, headcount
- Take notes at formal meetings and help with ad hoc HR tasks and audits
- Provide ad hoc advice to employees and managers
- Manage external stakeholders
**Skills & Experience**
- Friendly, professional, and happy to help
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised
- Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- A team player who can also work well independently
- Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Previous experience in a head office HR admin role is a bonus
