**Job Title**: Junior IT Technician

**Location**: Manor Drive North, New Malden, Surrey KT3 5PE

**Salary**: £17,550 based on 38.75 hours per week

**Job type**: 8am - 4.30pm, term time only + 4 weeks holiday work in August

**About us**:
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Junior IT Technician, ready to join a very busy department in a technology focussed learning environment.

The school has an extensive 1:1 iPad deployment, with staff and all students in KS3/KS4 having their own personal iPad. This deployment requires constant maintenance and monitoring; as such applicants would benefit from a keen interest and knowledge in Apple products.

The school also has a large Windows deployment including 160 desktops in various IT rooms and two dedicated Mac Suites. All staff have Windows Laptops and make use of Interactive whiteboards and projectors in the classroom.

**The job role will include, but not be limited to**:

- First line support. First to respond to calls, tickets and walk-ins.
- Solving student/staff iPad/laptop technical issues
- Monitoring iPad management system
- Dealing with insurance claims for damaged/faulty iPads
- Servicing Photocopiers and printers
**About you**:

- The successful applicant will also be expected to assist the rest of the IT support team, when required, with various tasks.
- Strong communication skills are essential and experience of working with children would be beneficial.
