Trainee Engineering Loss Adjuster - Ireland - Remote working up to £27k per annum plus company car / car allowance plus an excellent benefits package
A fantastic opportunity to join a leading Global Loss Adjusting organisation, you will work with their vastly experienced and knowledgeable Engineering division who are renowned within the Industry for handling all areas of plant & machinery and generalengineering/construction and renewable energy claims. As a Trainee Engineering Adjuster you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced adjusters where you will help assist with engineering claims in both Northern and Southern Ireland with occasionaltravel to the UK mainland. You will work both externally and internally assessing engineering claims and adjusting where appropriate, calculating and agreeing settlement of claims and preparing final reports. Full support and training will be provided by theteam of experienced adjusters helping you to develop a loss adjusting career within the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a mixed caseload of engineering claims, predominantly Contractors Plant, Renewable Energy and Agricultural Machinery
- Carry out site investigations primarily throughout Ireland with occasional travel to the UK mainland
- Receive, acknowledge and handle new claims
- Build client and colleague relationships
- Prepare case management plans
- Visit the Insured, Brokers, Claimants, Representatives, Insurers, Re-Insurers and relevant experts
- Prepare reports detailing every aspect of the claim
- Detail Policy analysis & liability, quantum and actions required
- Visit sites, interview witnesses and prepare witness statements where required
- Work closely with other internal divisions such as forensic scientists and various experts as required
- Keep records fully up to date regarding technical or legal changes
About you:
- Insurance Claims handling experience
- Engineering or Mechanical Engineering experience
- Excellent customer services, organisational and exceptional communication skills
- Commitment to become an experience field base loss adjuster
- A recognised Mechanical/or Electrical Engineering qualification
- Full clean driving licence
