Dental Receptionist

As our practice continues to expand, APCO Dental Care is looking for an enthusiastic and well-mannered individual to join our team as a Dental Receptionist.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play an essential role in creating a positive experience from the moment they arrive. You’ll work closely with our team of dental professionals, so being a strong team player is key.

We’re looking for someone who demonstrates exceptional customer service, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a genuine commitment to providing the highest standard of patient care.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet and check patients in and out of appointments
- Schedule and manage appointments efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient and practice records in line with GDPR regulations
- Handle incoming calls and patient enquiries professionally
- Manage lab work sign-in and sign-out processes
- Organise and maintain the appointment book
- Process patient payments, handle cash, and complete end-of-day banking
- Liaise with dentists regarding appointments and private treatment plans
- Provide information to patients about NHS and private treatment options

We’re looking for someone with previous experience as a receptionist, ideally within a dental or medical setting. Knowledge of SFD software is not required but would be an advantage. You should have excellent communication skills, a professional and friendly manner, and the ability to stay organised while multitasking in a busy environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care are essential.

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
