We are supporting our long-established East Midlands accountancy client in growing their Tax team as they are now recruiting for an experienced Tax Advisor.

This **Tax Advisor** role is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of professionals who offer their clients a full tax planning and advisory service, with hybrid working opportunities and flexible hours.

**THE ROLE**

Your responsibilities as a **Tax Advisor** will include:

- Delivering all elements of a tax project, tax advice or tax compliance with supervision
- Training assistant team members, including regularly reviewing their work to ensure that client requirements are actioned
- Managing your workflow and client expectations, using your specialist knowledge and skills to the team
- Developing working relationships with clients and assisting in all aspects of the company’s relationships with them to maximise yield and performance
- Identifying areas of risk and viable opportunities for both current clients and potential clients

**THE CANDIDATE**

The ideal **Tax Advisor** will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:

- Ideally, you will be ACA, ACCA, or CTA, or ATT qualified with a minimum of 1 year’s post qualification experience, or hands on experience
- Experience in Inheritance tax, capital gains, allowances, trusts, income tax and incorporation work
- Interpersonal and people management
- Organised with good time and budget management
- Ability to prioritise own workload
- Self-motivated for technical knowledge and personal development
- You are based in the east midlands, can commute to either our Grantham or Spalding Office
