Working with the team responsible for the resettlement of refugees and asylum seekers into Bath and North East Somerset.

The Inclusive Communities Team are looking for an experienced administrator to assist refugee families and individuals in resettlement related matters (including supporting those who are at risk of losing their accommodation with sponsor/host families, extended family members or in the private rented sector). The post holder will also provide administrative support to the team including using providing data and information for Government portals.

**Key tasks of the post**
- The primary purpose of this role is to support the Home for Ukraine (H4U) co-ordinator, to oversee the reception of and the move-on of refugees and asylum seekers across B&NES
- Provide strategic and operational support to the resettlement scheme teams and to respond to requests on all aspects of the schemes for sponsor, guests, prospective sponsors and other agencies
- To support with the design and delivery of resettlement programmes to provide positive outcomes for adults and children
- To draft information relevant to Council and Government departments, analyse data and provide clear and concise reports to coordinator, completing financial and monitoring returns as necessary
- To ensure that the safeguarding checks that are carried out as part of the resettlement schemes are undertaken in a timely manner, and that accurate records are maintained on both the local database and government system (e.g., Foundry).

We are looking for a person with experience of maintaining accurate and up to date digital records.

You will be required to work closely with other Council departments to deliver a high-quality service and to confidently share information and ideas, and promote a consistent, organisation wide approach to resettlement policy and practice.

Applicants must have excellent communication skills and experience of working with multiple agencies. An understanding of running analysis on data to provide clear and concise reports is essential.

Your main place of work will be the award-winning, modern Civic Centre in Keynsham, halfway between Bath and Bristol, easily accessible via car or public transport, with a train station 5 minutes’ walk away.
