Leisure Club Attendant

We are looking for a committed, passionate and enthusiastic Leisure Club Receptionist/Attendant to join our team in our well established 4* hotel in Redruth, Cornwall.

As a member of our team, previous experience of working in a similar Leisure/Spa environment is preferred but full training will be provided. We are looking for energetic, physically fit individuals with a sparkly personality and positive can do attitude, individuals who can easily connect with others and who know how to build and maintain customer and employee relations and expectations.

**HOURS**:A minimum of 16 hours per week over five out of seven days. Includes some early starts 6.30am and some late finishes 9.30pm, shifts vary over the week including day shifts. 2 - 4 shifts per week. Flexibility is essential.

**JOB PURPOSE**:To greet/check in leisure club guests, sell memberships, general reception duties. Look after and serve our guests food and drinks and ensure their wellbeing. As you would expect cleaning is included.

**KEY ACTIVITIES**
- Assist in the supervision of the swimming pool and associated facilities in accordance with laid down procedures.
- Welcome guests, take payments, orders for food, serve food and drinks
- Following up all membership enquiries and signing up new members following the correct sales process and take bookings for spa treatments
- Carry out daily cleaning duties as directed maintaining high standards on a daily basis.
- Carry out water quality testing
- Attend staff training on a regular basis.
- Deliver outstanding customer service whilst handling all enquiries, any complaints and customer requests.
- Perform any other relevant activities

**KEY SKILLS**
- You must be able to swim
- Must be IT literate
- A good time keeper
- Flexible in availability for varying shift patterns
- Committed to providing the highest level of customer service for our guests

**Salary**: £8.60-£11.44 per hour
