**Immediate Start**

CDX are currently recruiting a professional Security Officer to attend numerous sites in the Warrington, Manchester and surrounding areas.

CDX Security is a northwest-based security company providing premium concierge services, facilities management and security solutions to large-scale businesses, distribution centres, and the retail sector throughout the UK

**The Role**:

- To provide security and support duties in a professional and courteous manner in line with both the client requirements and CDX Security’s policies and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prevent and deter unauthorized access to the site.
- Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms as appropriate.
- Conduct external and internal security patrols.
- Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate.
- Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties.
- Maintain all logbooks and records.
- Provide support, guidance, and information to all staff, visitors, and contractors whilst ensuring the safeguarding of the premises.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards, and unsafe working practices.
- Ensure all walkways and emergency escape routes are always kept clear.
- Investigate the cause of all fire alarm activations.
- Identify opportunities for improving practices and processes.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and conduct effective handover procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- Must hold a valid SIA Frontline Licence.
- 5-year checkable work/career history. All applicants will be vetted in line with industry standards (BS7858).
- Determination and resilience.
- Always dressed smart and professional.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent customer service experience.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Work independently from own initiative as well as part of a larger team.
- Flexible approach to work.

**Salary**: £9.75 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- SIA License (required)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
