We have a fabulous job opportunity for you to join our awesome team as a Housing Management Coordinator. We support our brilliant customers who may have a history of substance or alcohol dependence, offending, homelessness and/or mental health support needs. We help them with managing and maintaining their tenancies, with the aim of moving on to secure, long-term accommodation

Our customers live in a house of multiple occupancy in Street. You’ll be our housing and property expert, focussing on tenancy support. You’ll support our customers with their housing benefit claims or rent and making sure they’re received on their rent account.

You’ll turn around vacant bed spaces so that new customers who need our help can move in quickly. You’ll also make sure our service achieves maximum occupancy, and that we are health and safety compliant

**About you**

You’re passionate and motivated to help vulnerable people make positive and lasting changes to their lives. You’ll impress us with your ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.

As our Housing Management Coordinator, you’re experienced in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties. You know all about re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed. You’re great at managing your own time and have strong written and verbal communication skills.

To make sure our customers are well supported, it’s important that you’ve had a job in a housing environment before. Don’t worry, we won’t drop you in the deep end, we’ll help to you understand how things work at Home Group

To make sure that we keep our records straight, and customers safe, it's really important that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe)

As this is a community-based job, you need to be able to drive, as well as having access to a vehicle insured for business purposes. Don’t worry, we’ll pay you expenses to cover this use
- When you join, you’ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you don’t have a transferrable one._

Our manager is Agata who’s been with us at Home Group for over two years but has over 14 years’ experience in the sector. You’ll join six of us in the team and we don’t just love to support our customers, we’re there for each other too The team includes Richard who is our go-to person as he’s been with the organisation for over 20 years - so he knows a thing or two about housing
