As a Creative Director you will be a ’big-picture professional’ who inspires the project and owns the entire creative process. You will guide the wider creative department in generating ideas and solutions that deliver high quality, emotive, behaviour changing and authentic creative work in line with our client aspirations and new business opportunities.

Purple is seeking an inspirational Creative Director capable of championing creativity across a wide portfolio of healthcare clients from Pharma and Rx, to Consumer Health and OTC conceiving big ideas that deliver on growth and innovation.

You will have proven track record of developing world-class creative executions, campaigns and experiences across physical and digital channels and someone who is bold, collaborative and ambitious in championing excellence.

You will be a natural leader who can work with our senior team to help nurture and shape the creative department, driving objectives to achieve success.

The role demands creative aptitude, agility and a professional approach to time, budgets and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
**Leadership**
- Establish an environment to think outside the box to create and deliver award winning work
- Coach, lead and develop the creative team, and actively manage their performance and creative output
- In collaboration with the service leads to develop strategic plans to develop our areas of expertise
- Showcase and share creative work across the team, discipline, and broader agency
- Work with the finance business partner and leadership team to manage resource requirements based on utilisation and changing business and client needs
- Motivate the team to deliver an evolving vision that engages, inspires, and differentiates the agency as a whole
- Help to develop and lead our pitch process to deliver exceptional solutions and improve our win ratio.

**Creative Services Team**
- Provide an inspirational leadership with creative team members to nurture and develop concepts and experiences for clients and new business opportunities
- Play a pivotal role in storytelling and selling a creative vision and ideas to clients with enthusiasm & impact
- Work closely with the Client Services, Strategy, Science and the wider creative teams to provide direction, ensuring that all creative work is strongly rooted in our clients’ commercial aspirations and help influence upstream conversations with clients to nurture their ambitions and uncover future opportunities
- Step in and play a hands-on role on projects when the need arises, helping to push work to a high standard of design
- Ensure that our creative workshops and presentations meet the highest professional standards
- Engage with cross-discipline working wherever possible
- Ensure our creative approach meets appropriate regulatory requirements e.g., ABPI / PAGB / NOAH codes.

**Essential Skills**
- Visionary - You have a strong vision for exceptional creativity and have a proven ability to connect that vision to client briefs and requirements
- Creativity - You are a passionate creative with a strong portfolio of creative work, including creative campaigns and digital content.
- Pitching - Excellent communication and presentation skills to pitch ideas to clients and explain ideas to members of the creative and client services team
- Leadership - Excellent leadership skills are required to hire, inspire, develop, support, and oversee the creative teams
- Organisational - Strong time and self-management skills with the ability to work
