**Support Worker - Bromsgrove (B61)**

**Shifts cover hours that can range between 7am and 10pm including weekends on a rota basis.**

**We are currently looking for someone to join our Team at one of our established Supported Living Services Bromsgrove, Worcestershire working within a bungalow supporting 3 female clients.**

Working patterns and your requirements can be discussed at interview stage to incorporate into the rota system as we encourage a good work life balance. We support the clients over 7 days a week so your shift pattern will include weekends allocated fairly between the team. There may also be a requirement for sleep ins to provide cover.

One of our clients has her own car so we are ideally looking for someone with a current UK driving licence and who is comfortable to drive this for client activities in the community.

Delivering a tailored package of meaningful support, you can expect every day to be rewarding and different as you will be supporting clients with day to day living, leisure and social activities, holidays, sports, health and wellbeing, assisting with personal care, budgeting, shopping, and cooking.

Training is important to us and you should be flexible enough to attend our training programme which includes regular supervisions, staff meetings, ongoing mandatory training and role specific training. In addition, on commencing with our organisation full Internal Induction Training would be delivered which takes place during the first 2 - 3 weeks.

**What we are looking for from our Support Workers**:

- Because You Can attitude - something we believe in passionately and underpins everything we do
- Positive outlook in order to deliver care that is flexible and responsive to client requirements
- You don't have to have experience in this type of role although it would be an advantage if you have work experience in a caring environment
- You don't need to drive but this would be an advantage as some of our clients have their own cars which can be used as part of their support
- Ideally, you will live in a commutable location to our services

**Our Rewards Package**:

- **Excellent Hourly Rates** - £10.77 per hour. Sleep in rate are £80.19 per sleep in shift
- **Tailored hours to support you** with full time and part time shifts. Weekend working is a requirement and some services may require you to do sleep in shifts but we are flexible regarding weekly contracted hours within the service hours and we can discuss this with you by working with our dedicated Rota Team
- **Always there **with 24/7 Support from the Operations Team including Directors. You will also have access to both Head Office and HR Team support where we work with an open door policy
- **Care Certificate Induction Training and Mentoring all paid **at your normal pay rate to ensure you have a seamless transfer into your new role that is tailored to your experience and knowledge
- **Ongoing client focused specialist training** **and career development** all fully paid including the opportunity to study for a Diploma in Health & Social Care. You can also expect to have regular refresher training to keep your skills up to date
- **Annual Leave** 28 days per annum pro rata and we ensure that you take your holidays
