**Shipping Coordinator**

Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a multimillion-pound food business. The business exports and imports high quality foods sold into UK retail and manufacturers as well as the international market.

**Responsibilities**:

- Chase suppliers for shipping /loading details of all orders purchased to ensure that all orders are loaded on time.
- Receive details from suppliers and ensure all details are logged correctly.
- Liaise with the relevant account managers
- Check and prepare original documentation for nominated clearing agents
- Arrange delivery to customers and advise clearing agent of all delivery details
- Request correction letters/new health certificates should they be required
- Pass freight invoices and issue debit notes.
- Shipping experience preferred, but not essential
- Excellent time management skills ensuring the operation is running smoothly.
- Organisational skills are essential.
- An ambitious team player, motivated, and proactive.
- Admin experience required
- Attention to detail and a pro active nature

What’s on offer:

- £21k to £23k salary.
- 25 days holiday.
- 1 day hybrid working (after 3-months working in the office).
